Buying a domain name?
Use our Better Who Is / Domain Check to find out if your domain is available. You can add as many names as you like to the shopping cart.
If you're a business we recommend you purchase all the top level domains for the UK, (.com, .net, .org, .co.uk ).
If you're a Parish Council then the most appropriate is .org.uk.
Businesses should purchase the set even if you don't intend to use them, as this prevents anyone else from registering a domain using your chosen name. Once you have added the domain names that you wish to register to the shopping cart please then select your choice of hosting.
 
Please note, we do not register domain names without hosting. If you register a domain name you must buy hosting.
If you register more than one domain you only need to buy a hosting product for the domain that you wish to host. We will point any other domains you purchase to the domain that we're hosting.
 
Buying a mini-site?
We recommend that you keep your domain clean and simple. If you live for example, in Nether Wallop we suggest you look first at netherwallop.org.uk and if this is not available we would suggest nether-wallop.org.uk or as a last resort, netherwallopparishcouncil.org.uk. but not netherwalloppc.org.uk because it's not search engine friendly.

Councils should not use .com, .org, .net or .co.uk as these are not appropriate and most Parish Councils tend to avoid .gov.uk because of the political connotations and the cost.

At the end of the checkout process you will be invited to choose the colour scheme for your site.

"Bare" - no branding, populating or email accounts (Only recommended for experienced designers/developers)

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours (sometimes longer) for the DNS of a domain to propagate. When your domain is live an mh-p holding page will appear.
 
Hosting your existing domain with us.
If you have a domain that you would like to host with us please purchase your hosting package, you can advise advise us the name of the domain when you buy the hosting. We will setup your hosting send you your username and password to access your space and upload your site. When you receive our documentation you should change the DNS with your current host to point your domain at our servers. Our DNS nameservers are listed below. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours (sometimes longer) for the DNS of a domain to propagate. When your domain is live on our server an mh-p holding page will appear.
